- AllGameGuide: A compendium of info on games.
- GameFAQs: The site you turn to when you're stuck and need a FAQ or Walkthrough for a game.
- GameRankings: A site that compiles and averages reviews from all over the net. Search for a game on there to get a quick overview of the press coverage.
- The Video Game Critic: Some guy's hundreds of short reviews on a ton of (mainly old)games. Very entertaining style.
Funny
- 8-Bit Theatre: Comic strips featuring the characters from the first Final Fantasy. Uneven but usually pretty good.
- The Angry Nintendo Nerd: Comical video reviews (but mostly rants) about NES games revisited by today's standards. Contains a fair amount of swearing, so may be offensive to native english speakers.
